Important Note on Skottel Dish Maintenance
It is critical to note that the Skottel dish requires seasoning before its first use. This is an essential part of owning and maintaining a CADAC Skottel Braai. If not seasoned correctly, the cooking surface will be difficult to clean and may retain markings after the initial use. Please refer to page 6 of the attached Operator Instruction Manual for full instructions on how to season the Skottel dish.
Unlike the rest of the CADAC range, which features a Greengrill Ceramic Coated Aluminium non-stick surface, the Skottel dish is not a non-stick coating. By seasoning it before use, the surface will behave similarly to a non-stick coating and be easy to clean thereafter. Following the Operator Instructions is crucial for optimal performance.
Usage Instructions:
- Assemble the Skottel Braai by attaching the legs and pot stand.
- Connect the gas supply and ignite.
- Place the Skottel top and start cooking your desired meal.
- Clean after use and store in the carry bag for convenience.
It includes all connectors to a standard New Zealand Gas bottle but the gas bottles are not included.
