BL118 sits firmly in the social and recreational side of Ballroom dancing. Rather than chasing the close, highly articulated feeling of a professional competition shoe, its construction puts comfort and confidence first.

The 2.5" heel gives the shoe an elegant Ballroom profile while remaining manageable for social dancing and regular classes. It's a useful middle ground for dancers who want more lift than a very low beginner heel without moving into a particularly demanding high-heel position.

One of the more useful details is hidden at the sides of the forefoot. Elasticated gussets around the metatarsal area allow a little extra give as the foot moves, making the front of the shoe feel less rigid during longer sessions.

Underfoot, a fully cushioned insole adds everyday comfort, while the full suede dance sole provides the familiar balance of glide and controlled traction needed for turns, directional changes and social Ballroom movement on suitable indoor floors.
