BLOCH European Balance ES0160 Pointe Shoes are built around a curved, arch-hugging last designed to follow the natural contour of the foot. Its combination of a tapered box, generous platform and low-profile construction creates a secure, streamlined pointe-shoe profile.

This standard ES0160 version features the European Balance’s flexible-at-the-arch shank construction. The European Balance Strong is available as a separate product for dancers professionally fitted into that variation.

The European Balance is designed around a curved last and shank that remain close to the instep, helping the shoe follow the shape of the foot. Its tapered box creates a snugger internal toe space, while the generous platform supports balanced weight distribution when en pointe.

A low profile, open throat line and elastic drawstring give the shoe its close, streamlined finish. Diagonal side seams help reduce satin creasing, while the thin outsole and flexible shank at the arch support a responsive, arch-emphasising construction.

The European Balance combines a curved last with a thin outsole and flexible arch construction to maintain close contact through the instep. A-Paste construction supports performance use, while the padded heel and noise reduction beneath the pleats add practical finishing details.
