With every pair of scissors purchased, you will receive a 2ml bottle of maintenance oil and five pieces of lint-free cloth for cleaning and maintaining the scissors.

Note: If you use this scissor to cut velvet rows, it is not recommended to use it for cutting other materials, as velvet rows require very high standards for scissors and can accelerate wear. However, scissors that are no longer suitable for cutting velvet rows can be repurposed for cutting wool, leather, fabric, and other materials.

Production Time: As these are not mass-produced and require customization, the production time is approximately 45 days. If there are many orders, the wait time may be longer. However, this scissor is absolutely worth the wait.

Material: Made from manganese steel, this scissor has higher strength, better toughness, and superior wear resistance compared to mass-produced stainless steel scissors. The downside is that they may oxidize and rust if left unused for too long, so regular maintenance is required.

Craftsmanship: This scissor is crafted using traditional hand-forging and quenching techniques with the aid of modern machinery. Compared to traditional Longhua scissors and mass-produced scissors, they have a higher material density, greater hardness, and superior sharpness and wear resistance, allowing for longer use. The artisans who produce this scissor, with assistance, can only make 2-3 pairs per day, so production is extremely limited.

Appearance: After quenching, the scissors are polished in a grinding workshop, resulting in a silver-white finish. The details are meticulously treated, removing any hand-forging marks, making them more aesthetically pleasing compared to traditional handcrafted Longhua scissors.

This Peach Ronghua Scissors 290 is handcrafted by a third-generation master craftsman from a family of scissor makers. Each pair is individually forged and quenched before completion and thoroughly tested before shipping. Because of its specialized purpose, this scissor is extremely sensitive to impact and vibration and is also very sharp. Please handle it with great care and pay attention to safety during use. We use multiple layers of shockproof packaging to ensure it arrives safely during transportation.

Maintenance Instructions:
This scissor is made of manganese steel (compared to stainless steel, manganese steel is softer and better suited for quenching and forging. After quenching and forging, it gains higher hardness and wear resistance, which greatly extends its service life). However, it may rust and therefore requires regular maintenance. If not used for a long time, please clean the blade thoroughly, then apply anti-rust lubricant evenly on both sides of the blade and the pivot area. Wrap it with plastic film and store it in a dry environment. If used frequently, please apply oil every few days and wipe it clean to prevent rusting.

A bottle of anti-rust oil and a dustproof cloth are included with this product. Before applying, please clean the scissors thoroughly, then evenly apply the oil on both sides of the blade and the pivot area. Wipe it clean before use.

Several rolls of self-adhesive bandages are also included. They can be wrapped around the scissor handles to provide a non-slip grip. You can adjust the thickness of the bandage wrapping to make the handles fit comfortably to the size of your hand.
